Rooted. Embodied. Healing
About Me
For years, as a mother, social entrepreneur, and activist, I took my own well-being for granted. I always thought somebody—or some cause—needed "me" more than I needed myself. After years of burnout, caregiver stress, and mysterious health problems, I realized that my own well-being was a prerequisite for any other role I was playing in life. I dove into various healing modalities headfirst, astonished by the human body's capacity to heal when supported by the right tools. I knew that I wanted my work, which had always been externally focused on healing the world, to include healing self in service of healing others.
I am particularly passionate about working with community activists, changemakers, helpers, and caregivers of neurodivergent kids and kids struggling with mental health and substance misuse.
I’m an eternal student. I study and practice Jewish mysticism and Jewish women’s folk rituals and am deeply influenced by multiple lineages of Buddhism and yoga, which I’ve practiced for over 25 years.
